A derelict 1900s house was demolished to make room for these new apartments in North Dunedin, overlooking the university precinct. The design spans four levels staggering down a steep site which required significant earthworks. Blockwork basement foundation walls and suspended concrete mid-floors form the main structural elements of the building. Exterior claddings are plaster and traditional weatherboard. Stell-framed pergolas with cedar timbers complement the simple forms. Designed by Darryl while employed at Clickworks.
